When we say we welcome volunteers, what we should actually say is that we can’t achieve all that we do without you! Our saleroom, Cafe and workshop are all very busy places and extra help is always gratefully received.

No experience is necessary, only a strong desire to work with people plus lots of team spirit and a little patience. There are so many different aspects of the operation, there’s sure to be something that suits you and we are positive that the experience will be mutually beneficial.

Applying to volunteer is an easy process. You will be asked to complete an application form and then we will submit a request for a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check on your behalf in line with the legal requirements for people working alongside vulnerable adults.

Why not come along for a chat, or contact us for a Volunteer Pack?

You are certainly guaranteed a warm welcome… and lots of fun!

If you would like to volunteer at The Meath/ Changing Perceptions, please contact Erica or the Fundraising team at 01483 411071

Other voluntary roles like sorting clothes in charity shops did not appeal. My past experience as a Special Needs Teacher and the fact that I had always loved painting meant it was a good match for me. I love the furniture workshop!
