About Us
Sheena Wheatley is the driving force behind Changing Perceptions.
"I am a Certified NLP Trainer and a Master Practitioner of NLP, Time Line Therapy, Hypnosis, and EFT; I am fully trained and accredited ‘Results’ Coach. I have been designing and delivering courses in various aspects of NLP for the last twelve years. I have several years experience as a Consultant, Trainer, NLP Trainer, Personal and Business Coach.
My background is in further education and training. I hold certification in Training Practices and I am an associate member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) and a member of the ICF (International Coaching Federation).
My clients are a cross section of society and include individuals and small and large businesses. They range from GlaxoSmithKline, ICI, Targeting Innovations, The City of Edinburgh Council, the Forestry Commission, Standard Life, Scottish Widows, The Law Society of Scotland and Edinburgh and Dundee Universities. Most recently I was asked by Spice Scotland to deliver a series of workshops on “Flirting” –now that was Fun!
I organise and run the East of Scotland NLP Practice Group based in Edinburgh. In my own ongoing personal development I have worked in London assisting NLP Master Trainer David Shephard and the Performance Partnership as a Trainer and Coach in courses run by them including my delivering of elective presentations in those courses and my co-certification of participants.
I have travelled round the world to learn from some of the leading gurus on human potential such as Anthony Robbins, Deepak Chopra, Susan Jeffers, John Grey, Richard Bandler, Robert Dilts and Ken Blanchard.
I bring to all of my work a passion for improving communications within businesses and organisations, as well as at the individual level. I see myself as an awareness raiser and people developer. With awareness comes choice and, ultimately, the possibility of change and growth. In supporting other people to be their best I have to lift myself to a higher standard. As I support others I create a win-win for me too. How’s that for a great job!"
